Fabric Description

  • Cotton prints that read as solids. Black background. Foreground colors are jewel tones of orange, red, blue, pink, gree, purple, yellow, and gold.

General Organization

  • This quilt is organized into a 3 column by 4 row grid. It is sampling of blocks. A straight setting with a full drop is used.

    The blocks us a variety of designs, so the quilt is a sampler.

    • Description: The sashing is pieced using black and colored fabric. The placement of the colored fabric creates four-pointed stars with very elongated points.
  • Borders
    • There are four borders on all four sides.
      The inner-most border is used as an extension of the sashing.

      The second border from the inside is all black fabric.
