- There is one border on the left and right side of the quilt of green gingham. No border is present on the top or bottom.

- Other: Fragments of old paper can be found in the seam allowances from foundation piecing. No dates could be read in the remaining scraps of paper. The paper seems to be used in a catalog – possibly a women’s magazine or sewing supply catalog. Some pieces had shards of color-print photos.
