  • 12 Strips of various shapes including triangles, trapezoids, octagons. These strips run the length of the quilt.

  • Other: Fragments of old paper can be found in the seam allowances from foundation piecing. No dates could be read in the remaining scraps of paper. The paper seems to be used in a catalog – possibly a women’s magazine or sewing supply catalog. Some pieces had shards of color-print photos.

No signs of repair, restoration or conservation.

Some stains are present and some fabric is starting to wear. This is particularly true where the fabric was printed with black dye.
